Peachy Keen Team

Updated: Jul 22, 2021

I got to be apart of a styled shoot that was organized by Magnolia Events at Kings Mansion off Front Street in Harrisburg, PA. It is such a beautiful location that can be rented for multiple occations and has its own parking area plus a beautiful outdoor welcoming patio that brings you into an authentic grand set up. you can tell that some structures have been there since the mansion was built, it was absolustly stunning. There were huge windows coming in on this suit that you can see is prepared for hair and makeup! You will continue to see our theme is Peach tones, its so fun!

And while this vendor list is huge, all the images captured in this blog, were taken by Stephanie Rohrbaugh Photography. She is from central PA, this was my first time meeting Stephanie and I love her work. Its so clean and crisp, almost editorial but still airy and comfortable. She does tons of family photography and captures all the real, raw beauty. When you go though her work you will see what I'm saying! She is pretty new to the sceen of weddings and she is totally worth checking out for any family or wedding photgraphy.

Lead and cordinating photographer was Fox and Ivy Photography, also tagging along in the group was @cmcphotography on IG. Both of their work can be seen in the blog, at Magnolia Events website, that is based on this styled shoot. Its great to see how different photographers can capture the same event,

I wasnt sure where to start, but lets get into the details! The invitations and florals notes, yes please! These invitations are by Rebecca Illustrated, and she does so much more then just these beautiful invitations. I mean this girl is talented! So you will have to check out her handy work, and talk about handy. All the florals in this photo and surrounding photos are prepared by the hands of Ali with Sage and Silk Florals. I really enjoyed her texture and color combos, her visions are out of the park.

Up next is rentals! Check out these set ups, This beautiful drink bar, with fresh fruit, and you build your own sangria. One thing I love about styled shoots is that it gives upcoming couples ideas you might not of thought of before. All the rentals and details for the food, table, and cake bar are all a collective effort. We have A to Z Event rentals for this bar, Sage and Co. rentals, Katie Price Event and Design set all of this stuff up for a complete look.

The Cake below was created my Rachael with Farmhouse Cakes. All the amazingly tantilizing finger foods were prepared by Mountain Laurel Catering. I can tell you by experince both the cake and the finger foods are absolutly amazing and worth every bite! in addition we have these beautiful hand painted macaroons crafted by Kyra at Macs By Kyra. She even has her own stand at the central market in york on saturdays!

dreams in all shades of peach

Now we can start to expand and start looking at the forest, instead of the trees. When we start to see all the details come together in a shoot, and you can see the idea come to reality. You see how much each detail counts. All your wedding dreams are achieveable and they dont have to look tacky or cheesy. I think people are scared of fun or bold colors and actually indulging in those colors!

With an all white dress, Florals and makeup can be much more of a statement. And bold doesnt always look as BOLD as we think next to all white. This fairy tale dress was the pick of the day, this dress was provided by Tamzen's Bridal Wedding Gowns. They have such a wide & beautiful selection of gowns, plus they were so easy to work with, I guarantee a great experience! Lets not forget our gentlemen! We have a tie from Dazi, all hand made! Watch and Jewlery by Norris and Co. Jewelers.

While he waits for his first look!! Its such an exciting moment. Allie and Jeremy have actually been together for many years and arnt married, so I told them this is their trial run!! So this first look is real, as they havent seen eachother at all up untill this point. So after a year in lockdown they havent been dressed up in a long time. I thought what a fun experience for the two of them to do after all this!

I love the way Stephanie captured this exchange between them. Its such a giddy little moment!!

Love at first site!! haha these two really had fun on this day, Im telling you guys, never be scared of a model call for any event its so worth the experience. These two really had a fun and its all captured!

This is the ourdoor patio that welcomes you as you come off the lot at Historic Kings Mantion. I love the brick lay and it is a covered patio to shade you from any weather, The front door opens to a grand stair case that leads you to the right, where a large reception room awaits you. Its very ball like!

now lets fast forward and add the couple into this shot to get and idea of the whole look.

And then just one more because we just cant let go of how dreamy this whole set was, below will be a more detailed list for what I did for her makeup look as I was inspired by the theme of this shoot!
